How to buy and Wii in the UK without paying too much
3 03 2007As of today (March 2007) it is still VERY difficult to get a Wii in the UK. Everywhere is sold out. But do not fret, here is how to get one easily. It took me 2 days and I bagged one for £179.99. Please people don’t pay those evil ebay vultures a penny more - they are just evil.
1) Go to www.game.co.uk and click the store locator link and make a list of all the stores in your local area. They are everywhere, I had 7 within 5 miles of me.
2) At precisely 9am every morning, call every store and say: “Can you check your delivery list and tell me if you have any wiis coming in today?” They will reply yes or no.
3) If yes, then ask “Can you hold one for me and I will come and pick it up”. They will and you do.
4) Bob’s yer uncle - wii heaven 
Don’t buy any games or accessories from Game unless you want to, there are cheaper places to buy that additional wiimote and games.
This has worked for me and two of my friends. Credit to my pal Gary who was first to discover this simple but effective method.
If you are one of those ebay vultures, intent of robbing families of their nintendo wiis by buying them and selling them for profit on ebay - then SHAME ON YOU!
